Unveiling Thailand’s Weekly Palette: Seven Days, Seven Colors!
Can you recall your early days in school? Kindergarten marks the milestone where kids begin to pick up social skills and navigate the world beyond their families. So, I suppose your first days in school involved a lot of group activities aimed at teaching you discipline and the importance of sharing. Well, my first days in school in Thailand didn’t quite unfold that way, at least not from what I can recall. We learned something that seemed more important: memorizing the seven colors for the seven days of the week!

Back in the day, people, especially the elites, rocked outfits that matched the color of the day. This tradition still holds true as a cultural influence today, to the extent that when I was a kid, I mistakenly assumed that the color code was universally common knowledge (If it wasn’t that big of a deal, then why would they bother teaching us at a young age, right?).
